Hit The Trail

Competition takes discipline, and when it comes to riding—practice makes perfect. We jump
and jump, perfecting every take-off. We work on our dressage moves. We round up, sit up, and
keep our eyes up, but sometimes we should let our bodies and minds relax. There is such a
thing as too much practice. We can get frustrated and channel this negative energy to our
horse. To relax both of you, get out on the trail. Let your horse enjoy exploring new territory,
seeing new things, and relaxing as you walk along.
It’s good for your horse.
Trails make them less reactive.
Trails relax their mind.
Trails make them better when you’re back in the ring.
It’s good for you.
Trails give you new opportunities for training.
Trails let you enjoy your horse in a peaceful environment.
Trails relax your mind, body, and spirit.
